Ugh. Thats how today has been and its only noon. Talked to Michael earlier, he had good news and bad news. He doesn't have to go to class on Monday so i'll get to spend more time with him in San Antonio, but the bad news is he'll only be back home for one day. Not three. Which means a busy, busy day. And it also means i'm gonna have to do some of the stuff on my own - like pack up his clothes, get the oil in my jeep changed, get new tires, bring Tank (one of our dogs) over to his parents, etc. The list goes on. I'm gonna have to learn how to do this stuff on my own. Not that i'm completely 100% reliant on my husband, but I'm not use to doing stuff on my own. I don't even really know how to pay bills. I mean, I DO, but I don't. I don't know what is due when, or how to make the payments. Do i call? Go online? Go to an actual place? I have to figure this stuff out.
Other bad news - he might be switched into a different unit, which equals different mission. Which equals the little tiny bit of peace of mind has been erased.
Addison spent some time under her play gym thing and she learned how to grab the monkey and pull him down. Yay baby! She then (of course) put him straight into her mouth.
I'm kind of sad I only have 2 followers! Even though I know more than 2 people read my pity party, I checked.
I think I broke the shredder. Its just a cheap one that is about 5 years old, but still. Dang it. We have a huge stack of stuff that needs shredded so I decided to get on that.... and it decided to break. Smoke included. Maybe it just needs a break... Like me, ha.
Addison decided she didn't want to nap again today. She screamed for 2 hours straight until i had enough and put her in her swaddle blanket and in her crib. She fussed for a while, but has been asleep for almost 2 hours. Silly baby just doesn't wanna nap sometimes. And it drives me nuts. I even text Michael and said "your daughter is annoying."
Okay. Its nighttime now. I made it through "our shows" that were on tonight. The Middle, Better With You, Modern Family, and Cougar Town (he doesn't readily admit that he watches that one though). I was kind of bummed that Better With You wasn't actually on, even though the tv guide said it was a new episode.
So i made it through, with my friend Tillamook Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. I put Addison to bed at 9 so i could watch the shows in silence. Thank goodness for the dvr and the pause button.
Sarah is coming over tomorrow evening, it will be nice to have some grown up company. Even if all we do is make spit bubbles and gurgle our spit with Addison. Its better than being here with just my phone and texts.

I LOVE Modern Family! The president's speech cut into it here, though...will have to find it on Hulu. And my little guy did that too, with his play gym...the monkey went into the mouth! EVERYTHING is going into his little mouth. I call it the black hole. He sucked on my chin today, haha.

BTW...We set up all our bills on online bill payer, so I can pay them when he is out of town. You can set up reminders and automatic payments. I think it easier. -Emily

ReplyDeleteYou will like this- today I came out of the shower and G was playing on her playmat/play gym thing. She was most of the way rolled over, just laying on her left arm. She had her neck cranked all the way backwards and was holding her octopus that hangs by her right hand and chewing on it...all while trying to watch the news on tv at the same time...of course the tv was in the opposite direction. haha.
Our babies are awesome :)
