Day Twenty Six.

today is michaels birthday. now he's even closer to 30 :) hehe. happy birthday bcakes! (dont ask.)

today was also addisons 4 month well baby check up, even though she'll be 5 months next week. she had to get shots, and i think she knew it from the moment we got into the exam room. everyone who knows addison knows that she doesnt cry. she screams. so she had a baby meltdown from the time i got her undressed to the time we were almost home. literally non stop screaming, which was about an hour. and shes got quite a pair of lungs for a baby. her doctor and i had to basically yell back and forth, then i forgot to get her little shot record book filled out because i was a little distracted.

so she has had a bad day to say the least. she slept a good part of the afternoon, but in between sleeping she just cried a lot. its been a rough day. oh, we had to stop at the store for dog food and luckily she slept thru the store, but while we were checking out, the cashier said "oh what a cute little boy!" umm addison has a pink blanket on her carrier, and a pink toy bar thing that straps onto the handle. its pink with a flower, dragonfly and a ladybug. pretty sure a boy wouldnt have that one. soooo i looked at her and said "daughter. she's a girl." and the lady goes "oh i can see that now" omg. i am so tired of that.

i put her to bed at 830 again tonight, i'm trying to make that her new bedtime. so far its been working pretty well. this morning she woke up around 545 and i just kind of layed in bed watching her on the monitor and she went back to sleep about 10 minutes later. good thing because momma was tired. really tired. actually, i might have been the one who fell back asleep first. we slept in til 830 :) thats pretty late for us!

tonight some of our shows are on, but i think i'm gonna watch them tomorrow. i need something to look forward to.

  1. Sleeping until 8:30 sounds amazing! Haha, congratulations! We're early risers here too, so I'm pretty envious!
